It’s a time frame. When things aren’t working in your favour it’s a time frame. Things will change.

In the meantime you can practice your skills for a new result. You can explore some more in your area of interest. Maybe add complementary skills. For instance, I’ve added design (with Canva) to copywriting. What could you do?

I’m beginning to believe that sometimes things don’t work out because you need to do something a little or a lot differently than what’s normally done. And, not out of disrespect or anything, but out of necessity.

The reason I’m beginning to see and believe this is because everyone, and I mean everyone, meets, as Tony Robbins teaches, six basic human needs.

This combined with personal values … what you care about, as well as what you avoid, plus so much more! adds to personal growth.

Personal growth is a part of personal development. No matter how you look at it. Therefore, do you need to shift a belief or develop a new habit?

If that’s the case then be prepared to be patient with yourself as you do this much needed work otherwise it could look like you take three steps forward, five back, over and over and over and over again. Maybe even more times.

It’s a funny thing about life; if you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it. -Somerset Maugham

I am truly a diamond in the rough and don’t tell you this because it might sound good.

I’ve been working on personal development, in my own way, since 2005. It's been a lot of personal growth mixed with things I enjoy learning about.

My work experience has nothing to do with the career change I envision for myself and I don't have a formal education.

I have created empowering beliefs about what I can do by working on skills that support my passion. I practice the skills by creating content and sharing it here on my blog.

My experience has been doing the best I can with what I have and going from there.

I also envision more because … well, that’s what you do when you have a passion.

How about you? your experience? your passion? your art?

"Q. New Year New Life

Every diamond sparkles with a good polishing every now and then ...

This part of your life is always a work-in-progress. Personal growth plus personal development help you expand your art. The combination of each empowers you with an abundance of creativity.

This has been true for me. So has this ...

You will always want to find new and different ways to express your art so the people you create for can appreciate it in the most helpful way possible.

Especially when you realize ... to know your heart, to work your passion (even when you don't get paid for it, yet) is to embrace breakthroughs in personal growth and personal development as best friends.
